Chelsea and Liverpool rest stars for FA Cup final rematch

Chelsea have made eight changes to the side that beat Liverpool in Saturday’s FA Cup final.

The Blues have given Petr Cech and Didier Drogba the night off with Ross Turnbull and Fernando Torres taking their places as only John Terry, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic keep their places.

Liverpool have made four changes from the side that lost to the Blues four days ago.

Jamie Carragher, Maxi Rodriguez, Jonjo Shelvey and Andy Carroll come into the side with Jose Enrique, Steven Gerrard, Jay Spearing and Craig Bellamy

Chelsea: Turnbull; Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand; Essien, Romeu, Malouda; Ramires, Torres, Sturridge.

Substitutes: Hilario, Hutchinson, Cole, Lampard, Mata, Kalou, Lukaku.

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Henderson, Maxi, Downing, Shelvey, Suarez, Carroll

Substitutes: Doni, Coates, Kelly, Spearing, Sterling, Bellamy, Kuyt
