Juan Mata and Fernando Torres lifted the Euro 2012 trophy with Spain

Chelsea duo Fernando Torres and Juan Mata picked up their third winners medal in just under two months as Spain lifted the European Championship after a 4-0 win over Italy.

Torres was predominantly a substitute for Spain throughout Euro 2012 but did score twice against the Republic of Ireland and scored the third in the final against the tired and beaten Italians.

Mata, on the other hand, made his only appearance in the final but it did not take him long to make an impact - scoring after two minutes and 19 seconds after coming on.

Both will pick up a winners’ medal to go with his Champions League and FA Cup silverware.
