Chelsea new boy desperate to make his mark

Chelsea youngster Kevin De Bruyne wants to avoid a situation Romelu Lukaku found himself in last season.

Lukaku only made 12 appearances for the Blues last season and admitted he was unhappy at the club.

“I want to adapt quickly”, the 20-year-old told Zevende Dag.

“I have not thought too much about Chelsea lately, I was on holiday with friends. Now, I live from day to day and I will be extremely dedicated from the very first training session at Chelsea.

“Obviously I will have to get used things. I will train with players I have watched and respected for 15 years, but I want to quickly improve the level that I am at.

“I don’t want to have a situation happen to me as happened to Lukaku. I just want to play, but I realise the competition is strong.”
