Raul Meireles hailed Petr Cech

Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles believes that star stopper Petr Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

The duo will face each other when Portugal take on the Czech Republic in the Euro 2012 quarter final tonight and the Portuguese star believes it will be a close game.

“I know Petr very well,” Meireles said. “He’s very strong mentally.

“He’s one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he has proved that.

“The feeling I have is that they’ll come with the desire to win. After losing the first game heavily, they responded very well to finish top of their group,”
