Florent Malouda revealed that there was a heated argument in the France dressing room

Chelsea star Florent Malouda revealed that there was a heated bust-up in the France dressing room after their 2-0 defeat to Sweden, which condemned them to finishing second in Group D, behind England.

The 32-year-old was dropped for the match but believes that the argument was a positive thing.

“Sometimes you need to aim a few bursts of gunfire at each other,” Malouda told the Guardian.

“We said quite a few things to each other in the changing room, which is a good thing as it’s proof that we have temperament and character.”
