Chelsea will face Manchester City in the Community Shield at Villa Park.
The season’s curtain raiser, between the FA Cup winners and Premier League champions, can not be held at Wembley because of the Olympic football tournament and the game is expected to take place on August 12.
The Blues have won the shield four times and have been runners up on five occasions.
