Chelsea transfer news: Atletico Madrid say they won’t sell Falcao
Atletico Madrid sporting director Joe Luis Caminero has rejected suggestions that Falcao could leave, insisting the star striker will be at the club next season.
The 26-year-old scored 36 goals last season after making a £35million move from Porto in August of last year.
Falcao’s exploits in front of goal has led to suggestions that bigger clubs will make their move with Chelsea said to be interested.
However Caminero insist they will not consider any offers for their star man.
“The club has very clear ideas on this. Falcao will remain at Atletico Madrid and any talk of an exit is misplaced. The striker will remain with us next season and we are not considering any other possibility,” Caminero told AS.
