The Blues interim head coach admitted that he had little say over the signing of Marko Marin
Chelsea interim head coach Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that the signing of Werder Bremen playmaker Marko Marin was a decision made by the club’s hierarchy.
The midfielder will join the Blues in the summer and could have been seen as an indication that the Italian was going to be appointed full time.
But Di Matteo has admitted that it was the club’s decision to sign Marin.
“I tend to give my recommendation but, ultimately, the club decides who they want to sign,” he said.
“He’s a very good player, technically very good, skilful.
“He will add some qualities to this team.”
