Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel admitted that his side switched off to allow Juventus to leave Stamford Bridge with a point.
The Blues had raced into a 2-0 lead before 35 minutes were up through a fine brace from Oscar but Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella struck back to give the Italian giants a 2-2 draw.
“It was a cheap goal to give away,” Mikel told Sky. “I think we switched off.
“It was a pass to Eden that didn’t get there. We should have dealt with it properly.”
