London24 readers decided Scott Parker should replace John Terry as the skipper of the Three Lions

London24 readers have voted for Tottenham star Scott Parker as the right man to replace John Terry as England captain.
You voted in your droves and Scott Parker took 46 per cent of the vote with Steven Gerrard coming in second with 34 per cent.
Joe Hart was third with only 10 per cent of the vote with Frank Lampard, Gareth Barry and Ashley Cole picking up the other 10 per cent between them.
Terry was stripped of the captaincy last week by the FA after his trial for an alleged racial slur on Anton Ferdinand was adjourned until after Euro 2012. The Chelsea defender denies the charge.
