Ryan Bertrand has been named in the Chelsea XI for this evening’s Champions League final against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

The youngster has barely featured for the Blues this season, but is set to start on the left hand side of midfield for the west Londoners.

With John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic suspended, David Luiz and Gary Cahill will start in the centre of the defence- both having been missing with hamstring injuries.

Soon to be out of contract duo Salomon Kalou and Didier Drogba are handed starts.

Chelsea: Cech, Cole, Bosingwa, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Lampard, Mikel, Mata, Drogba, Kalou.

Substitutes: Turnbull, Ferreira, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres.

Bayern Munich: Bayern team: Neuer, Boateng, Lahm, Contento, Ribery, Robben, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Tymoschchuk, Muller, Gomez.

Substitutes: Butt, van Buyten, Rafinha, Usami, Pranjic, Petersen, Olic.
