Transfer news: Luka Modric is keeping quiet over where he will play his football next season

Tottenham star Luka Modric has refused to comment on any transfer speculation with the midfielder linked with a move to Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, the Croatia international believes that his side, if they can qualify from their group that includes Spain, Italy and the Republic of Ireland, then his country could go all the way.

“If we can pass the group ..... I think we can go all the way to the end,” Modric said.

Croatia manager Slaven Bilic believes that Modric has recovered from the fatigue that saw his form dip towards the end of the season.

“He played every game when he was available, he was a bit tired,” Bilic said. “He’s ready to play his role, which is very important for us.”
