Transfer news: Edison Cavani is staying at Napoli
Edison Cavani has ended speculation linking him with a move to Premier League by signing a new contract with Napoli.
The Uruguay striker had been a long-term target for Chelsea and Manchester City but his new deal will keep him at the Serie A side until 2017.
“I’m happy here,” said Cavani.
“The club has been good to me and I wanted to stay.”
