Tottenham transfer news: Luka Modric says he will decide his future after the Euros

Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric says he will decide his future following this summer’s European Championships.

The Spurs playmaker was linked with a big-money move to Chelsea last summer, with chairman Daniel Levy apparently rejecting offers above £30million.

Levy and boss Harry Redknapp are desperate to keep Modric at White Hart Lane, but the 26-year-old believes it is he who controls the situation.

“I will decide about my future after the Euros,” he told the Mirror.

“I will make the decision where to continue my career. I’m ready for the big tests.”

Both Manchester clubs are said to be interested in Modric, who joined Spurs from Dynamo Zagreb for £16.6million in 2008.
