Adam Forshaw, who is on loan at Brentford, will undergo an operation after breaking his jaw against Rochdale
Brentford have confirmed that Everton loanee has suffered a broken jaw during the Bees’ 2-0 win over Rochdale yesterday.
The 20-year-old was caught in the face midway through the first half and was substituted and taken to hospital.
Forshaw will undergo an operation within the next 24 hours.
Goals from Toumani Diagouraga and Clayton Donaldson, ending his goal drought, were enough to give Brentford the victory over struggling Dale.
Forshaw signed a loan deal until the end of the season but no time frame has been laid out for a return to action.
