Transfer News: Sammy Moore has signed a new deal with the club

AFC Wimbledon star Sammy Moore has signed a new contract with the club.

The 24-year-old was voted as the Dons’ player of the year and manager Terry Brown is looking to build a team around him next season.

“I am absolutely delighted to have signed the backbone of our midfield from last season,” said the Wimbledon manager. “Sammy quite rightly earned the Player of the Year award and he has been an integral part of our success in the past two seasons.

“He has managed to score six goals from a midfield holding role this season, which is brilliant.

“I would like more opportunity to release Sammy into attacking areas and I intend to do that.”
