Peter Hill-Wood claimed that the Gunners had not received an offer from Juventus for Robin van Persie, who has also been linked with Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has insisted that the Gunners have not received an offer from Juventus for Robin van Persie and is adamant that the Dutchman will stay.

The striker has been linked with a move away from north London and reports suggested that Arsenal turned down a move from Juventus, however Hill-Wood has denied these.

“As far as I am aware, nobody has made any offer for him and he is away so we are not in any dialogue at all,” Hill-Wood is quoted as saying in the Mirror.

“We are not in the remotest bit interested in selling him.”
