Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he admired Thierry Henry during the Frenchman’s time at Arsenal.

The Poland international has been linked with a move to the Gunners in the past as well as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham.

“I didn’t have one particular idol, but there was a player I tried to follow. It was Henry in his time at Arsenal,” Lewandowski told Uefa.com.

“I liked the way he played and moved on the pitch. I think he was a great player.”
