Transfer news: Roberto Mancini believes Etihad Stadium woiuld be the “perfect destination” for Eden Hazard

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is the latest Premier League manager to wax lyrical about the talents of Eden Hazard, believing the Lille star will do "great things" at the Etihad Stadium.

The Belgian is set to leave the current Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season and admitted that he would be keen for a move to England.

Harry Redknapp has spoke glowingly about Hazards talents in the past, while in the past week Sir Alex Ferguson described the 21-year-old as a "very good player".

Now Mancini has had his say on the playmaker, who could upwards of 30million.

"I like Hazard a lot. He's a good player, hes young and he would do great things in our team," he said.

"Given his technical qualities City would be the perfect destination for him.

"I know him and have been following him for a long time. Hes a player a lot of teams want."
