Transfer news: Blackburn’s Steven N’Zonzi has put suitors on alert by announcing he wants to leave the club

Blackburn midfielder Steven N’Zonzi has told Steve Kean that he intends to leave the Championship side this summer.

The 23-year-old Frenchman, who has not joined his teammates on a pre-season tour of Austria, has been linked with QPR, Arsenal and Sunderland.

“He’s asked for a transfer, hence why he never went to Austria,” said Kean.

“He doesn’t want to play for the club any longer. I’ve had meetings with his father and he wants to play elsewhere.

“We’ll be listening to offers but as it stands he remains under contract and we haven’t had any offers at all.”
