QPR boss dreading Wilshere comeback

QPR manager Mark Hughes has praised Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and admits he will be a threat when they go head to head at the Emirates on Saturday.
20-year-old Wilshere has missed over a year of action with injuries but was an unused substitute in Arsenal’s shock 1-0 defeat at Norwich last weekend. He is tipped to feature for the Gunners against Rangers.
Hughes revealed his admiration for the England midfielder but admitted he wouldn’t have begrudged him an extra week in the injury room.
“He’s an outstanding young player, I think the leagues been a lesser league [without him],” he said.
“I think everyone missed watching his talents. Ideally, I would have hoped that he [was] one week away from a return but it seems that he played midweek [for Arsenal’s under-21s] with a view to being involved, so we’ll see.
“He’s a young man that seemed to have the world at his feet but he’s had a real set back.
“We wish him well but not too many good wishes if he plays at the weekend.”
