Transfer news: Marcus Bean has moved to the U’s

Former Brentford midfielder Marcus Bean has completed a move to League One rivals Colchester United.

The U’s picked up four points over the Bees last season but finished below the west Londoners in 10th.

Bean was deemed surplus to requirements by Brentford boss Uwe Rosler and he was released last month after playing 168 games for the Bees.
