Didier Drogba could sign for Barcelona

Chelsea star Didier Drogba could make an incredible move to Spanish giants Barcelona after his agent revealed he will be meeting the La Liga club's representatives.

The Chelsea strikers contract with the Blues expires this summer and it looked as if the Ivory Coast international will agree a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

However, his agent revealed he could make a shock move to the Nou Camp.

"I have a document signed by Drogba allowing me to start negotiations with Barca," Francois Gallardo told Spanish TV.

"After the Copa del Rey final I will meet with [Andoni] Zubizarreta and confirm the interest of Didier to play for this club. Money won't be a problem because the player is more concerned about sporting issues."

Drogba has also been linked with a switch to Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua.
