Victor Moses has praised Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard and said playing alongside the Belgian is helping him improve.

Nigeria international Moses netted his sixth goal for Chelsea since signing for the club from Wigan in the summer as Rafael Benitez’s stormy post-match press conference stole the headlines in last night’s 2-0 FA Cup win at Middlesbrough.

Moses’ goal came after good work from Hazard, another Chelsea summer signing, and the 22-year-old was quick to praise his team-mate.

“It was great work from Hazard and Oscar, they’re both great players as we all know, it was a nice one-two to slip me in and it just needed a little touch from me to put the ball in the back of the net,” Moses told Chelsea’s official website.

“Hazard’s a quality player, we see week-in, week-out what he can do, and playing alongside him can only help me.”

The Blues face West Brom on Saturday as they look to get back on track in the Premier League and Moses knows it will be a big game.

“We’ve got an important game coming up on Saturday, we’re looking forward to it but it’s not going to be an easy game, so we need to make sure we get three points,” he said.

“It will be important for us, we’ve already lost a few competitions this season, so this one would be massive for the club.”
