Gary Cahill wants to improve the Blues’ league form

Chelsea star Gary Cahill is looking for more consistency in the league this season.

While the Blues lifted the FA Cup and Champions League trophies they finished in sixth place in the Premier League, behind Tottenham and surprise package Newcastle.

“We could have competed in the league better,” said Cahill.

“That will certainly be the aim. The obvious problem was consistency, there were some dodgy results.

“It is a question of ironing those problems out.

“We know we have the players to compete.”
