Chelsea striker Fernando Torres will miss tomorrow’s clash with West Ham, however Ashley Cole is available for selection.

The Spaniard has been struggling with a groin injury that ruled him out of Spain’s recent internationals.

Cole played for England against Germany on Tuesday and is still in some discomfort due to a rib injury but is set to feature for the Blues.

“Fernando is not ready – not yet. Almost, but not yet,” manager Jose Mourinho said, adding: “Ashley Cole is selected.

“He still feels it a little bit but it’s a situation that we have known for quite a long time.”
