Transfer News: Christian Maggio is happy at Napoli

Chelsea target Christian Maggio will not be moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer according to his agent, Massium Briaschi.

The Napoli full back has attracted a string of admirers over the course of the season for his performances for the Serie A side.

“Chelsea interested in Maggio? There is no news there,” Briaschi told Tuttomercatoweb,

“Christian extended his contract at Napoli until 2017 and that says it all. There is, and there won’t be, any news on this.

“It is clear that Christian wants to stay here, maybe until the end of his career. If he didn’t, he would have tried to run down his contract with Napoli.”
