Mourinho eyes two in the summer and hints at Lukaku exit

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is only planning to sign one or two players during the summer.
The Blues added Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah to their squad in January, with Kevin De Bruyne and Juan Mata leaving for Wolfsburg and Manchester United respectively.
The west London outfit also signed Bertrand Traore and Kurt Zouma but these deals are part of the club’s plans for the future.
Asked whether there would be a radical overhaul in the summer, Mourinho replied: “No. I see this summer as a very quiet summer for me and for the club – finish the season, work a couple of weeks to prepare the details of pre-season and this and that.
“One signing, max two.”
Chelsea have been linked with a host of strikers and Mourinho has made it plain that a striker is a target, but refused to enter the market in January.
There will also be outgoings and the Portuguese coach suggested that Romelu Lukaku is likely to be one of them leaving, given that the Belgian opted to go on loan at Everton for first team football, rather than fight for a place at Stamford Bridge.
“One to leave, two to leave because they want to play more because one of the kids feels it’s better to go and play on loan somewhere,” he said. “I see a very quiet summer.”
