Transfer news: The Portuguese boss denied that he was looking to sign Hulk

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that he was not wanting to sign Hulk.

The pair met at Brazil’s Olympic Games base, sparking speculation that he wanted to sign the 25-year-old, who has also been linked with Chelsea.

“Hulk is a very special player for me,” the former Chelsea coach told Terra.

“We had a very good year together in Porto and we have a good relationship - that I do not deny.

“But we have just been talking, nothing more.”
