Former Fulham man Pavel Pogrebnyak was on target for Reading as they beat Crystal Palace in the Eagles’ final pre-season friendly.

The south Londoners started well in Berkshire with Aaron Martin missing from close range.

But in the second half Pogrebnyak scored his first goal for the Hoops and then Adam Le Fondre doubled the lead from close range.
