Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has blasted the fixture computer after providing the Eagles with two long trips away from home in a row, against Leeds and Hull.

The Eagles travelled to Yorkshire on Saturday before going back up north on Tuesday to face the Tigers.

“It’s a madness of a trip that we will now get back at 3am after coming up to Leeds (on Saturday),” he said.

“That computer that does these games needs a right good volley!

“How can this be a midweek fixture? How can that be?”
