Transfer news: Kieran Richardson set to swap Stadium of Light for Craven Cottage

Sunderland full-back Kieran Richardson was tonight in talks with Fulham after the two clubs agreed a fee for his transfer.

Black Cats boss Martin O’Neill confirmed that the Wearsiders have accepted an offer for the 27-year-old, but did not disclose the club.

However, it is understood to be the Londoners who have firmed up their interest.

The announcement came as Fulham announced they’d agreed a fee to sell Moussa Dembele to Tottenham.
