Goalkeeper Maik Taylor will put pen to paper next week on a one year deal with the Lions

Millwall are set to sign Maik Taylor after the club revealed that the 40-year-old will put pen to paper next week and sign a one-year contract.

The Northern Ireland international initially joined The Lions on an emergency loan from Leeds United in March and went on to keep six clean sheets in 10 starts.

The 40-year-old also saved penalties in successive games against Coventry and Ipswich.
