Transfer news: Ajax coach believes that Tottenham target Toby Alderweireld will finish the season at the Dutch club.

Spurs have been linked with the Belgian after signing Jan Vertonghen and the defender could make a move in the summer with his contract expiring in 2014.

“That’s (a transfer) maybe something for next year,” de Boer said.

“I think he’ll end this season at Ajax.

“We’re very happy with him and don’t want to let him go in the winter unless it’s a super transfer fee, but I don’t think that will happen.”
