Tottenham transfer news: Stevan Jovetic can leave Fiorentina

Chelsea and Tottenham target Stevan Jovetic can leave Fiorentina according to the Italian club’s director Gianfranco Teotino.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is believed to be a fan of the 22-year-old and a deal could be in place to bring the forward to White Hart Lane, with the west Londoners also monitoring the Montenegro international.

“Stevan is a Fiorentina player,” Teotino said. “But if he wants to leave, then let’s make it clear that we do not want to hold anyone against their will.

“If he believes in this team, then he can wear the club’s shirt for a long time. If he does not, then he will not be missed.”
