Transfer news: Esteban Granero wants Luka Modric to sign for los Blancos

Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero would like to see Luka Modric join the Spanish champions.

Los Blancos are trying to sign the Croatia international although Manchester United are still trying to sign the playmaker.

“Every year great players come and great players go,” Granero is quoted as saying by AS.

“What is most important is that the team is strengthened.

“I don’t know whether it will be him, someone else or nobody, but we will always welcome players that improve Real Madrid with open arms.”
