The midfielder has an Achilles injury

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed the Scott Parker has been ruled out of the game with Blackburn with an Achilles injury.

The 31-year-old has been a vital player for Spurs in recent weeks and the manager was not going to risk the midfielder.

“He’s got a sore Achilles,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

“He trained yesterday and it was sore.

“Achilles injuries are dangerous. If it snapped it could be the end. It’s too sore to play.”
