Tottenham transfer news: Rafael Van Der Vaart discussed his future

Tottenham midfielder Rafael Van Der Vaart has revealed that he wants to remain at White Hart Lane, despite interest from German club, Schalke.

The Dutchman made 39 appearances for Spurs last season, scoring 13 times, as the north Londoners finished fourth.

“I don’t know. Actually, I want to stay at Tottenham. But in football you never know,” Van Der Vaart told Bild.

“I spent three years living in Hamburg and had a wonderful time at HSV. My wife Sylvie works there and we have many friends who live in your country.”
