Tottenham transfer news: Loic Remy wants to stay with Marseille

Loic Remy has committed his future to current club Marseille, saying that he is not yet ready to leave the Stade Velodrome.

Tottenham were heavily linked with move for Remy in the January transfer window after boss Harry Redknapp watched the striker in action.

It is thought the north Londoners could make a bid for the 25-year-old’s services at the end of the current campaign.

However Remy- who only joined Didier Deschamps’ side in 2010- intends to stay with Marseille, despite them being just 10th in Ligue 1.

“I already said I am not ready to leave for the moment,” Remy told La Provence.

“There are offers, in England especially, but I do not feel I have had a complete season for Marseille and have a sense of unfulfilled duty.”

Remy has scored 14 goals in 36 games for Marseille this season.
