Brentford defender Tony Craig insists that he will give it all he has to help the Bees reach at least the play-offs.

The former Millwall man joined the west London club last Friday and is looking to make as many appearances for Brentford as he can.

“I’m a player who gives 110 per cent every week,” Craig said. “I’m just a player who gives his all.

“I want to play as many games as possible and we’ve got to look at play-offs at least.”

The 27-year-old has captained the Lions in the absence of regular leader, Paul Robinson but it is not something he is looking for.

“I’ve done that in the past,” he added. “I’ll settle in first and see what happens from there.

“I like to put my opinion across on the pitch and I’m pretty vocal. Pre season is going well so far.

“I’m very happy to be here. The lads have made me feel welcome so, so far so good.”

Craig partnered Leon Legge in defence against Hayes & Yeading and believes the relationship will only improve as time goes on.

“It’s was my first game with Leon and Harlee wasn’t involved with that,” he added.

“We’ve got a good relationship. We get on off the pitch and hopefully long may it continue.”
