Transfer news: Jordan Rhodes, who has also been linked with Aston Villa and Celtic, could remain at Huddersfield
Huddersfield Town coach Glynn Snodin remains hopeful that Jordan Rhodes will remain at the Galpharm Stadium after the Terriers were promoted to the Championship.
The 22-year-old scored 40 goals in all competitions this season and has been linked with moves to Aston Villa, Celtic, Everton, Fulham, Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham in recent weeks and months.
But Snodin believes that the Scotland Under-21 international could remain on Yorkshire as the club prepare for their first season in the Championship since 2001.
He told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: “Jordan has got a lot to run on his contract, he loves playing for Huddersfield Town and we love him, so hopefully when he comes back everything will be hunky dory.
“Jordan is such a gentleman that we know everything will be done with dignity.
“I am sure he will sit down with his agent, the chairman and chief executive and sort things out as necessary - but we want him and Jordan wants to stay.”
