Reading’s Nicky Shorey expects West Brom to prove tricky opposition for Fulham when they meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The 31-year-old defender had a loan spell at Fulham in 2009-10 after which he spent two seasons at West Brom before joining newly-promoted Reading this summer.
Shorey has told Martin Jol’s side to expect a battle against in-form and confident West Brom.
“It will be a really interesting game this weekend, especially with West Brom going so well,” he told Fulham’s official website.
“Craven Cottage is a very difficult place to go irrespective of recent form.
“It’s always tough at the Cottage and the fans get right behind Fulham.
“It’s a quirky little ground but West Brom will be going there full of confidence. It will be an intriguing contest on Saturday.”
