Fulham manager Martin Jol has been impressed with the performances of Chris Baird in recent weeks.
The defender has been used in midfield recently and has scored two goals in two games recently.
And the Dutchman has been impressed with his versatility.
“When I came they said he was a defensive full back,” he said. “I want full backs who go forward.
“He then played as a centre back but Senderos, Hughes, Hangeland are a bit ahead of him.
“Someone said he played in midfield once or twice. I did that because of an injury to Diarra.”
