Fulham defender joins Watford on loan

Fulham left-back Matthew Briggs has joined Championship side Watford on loan for a month, Cottagers boss Martin Jol announced today.

The 21-year-old has struggled to break into the Cottagers’ first team and heads to Vicarge Road looking for more experience.

Briggs has made eight appearances for Fulham this season and appeared four times for Bristol City during a one-month loan back in October.
