Transfer news: Eddie Johnson hailed Clint Dempsey
Fulham legend Eddie Johnson believes that Clint Dempsey will be a great player for Liverpool, as a switch draws ever nearer.
Andy Carroll is seemingly on his way out of Anfield and reports have suggested that Dempsey wants to leave the west Londoners, despite them claiming that there have been no bids.
“Andy Carroll on loan to west ham. Looks like its opening up space for my boy @clint_dempsey,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.
“Dempsey will be a great contribution to Liverpool. #topplayer”
