Transfer news: Dickson Etuhu has left the club
Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu has completed his move away from Craven Cottage, joining Blackburn for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old signed a four year contract and will link up with former Whites captain, Danny Murphy.
“Dickson is a player I have admired for a long time and he will be a fantastic addition to the squad,” Blackburn boss Steve Kean said.
“He is a powerhouse in midfield, who has played at the highest level with Fulham, and we feel confident he will complement our other midfield options.”
The move came about after a breakdown of relations between the player and manager Martin Jol.
“All is not well with me and the manager and I think I will be heading out of the club in the summer,” Etuhu is quoted as saying by The Sun in March.
“But, right now, I am focused on helping Fulham get a European spot for next season.”
