Brede Hangeland has singled out Mousa Dembele for praise after the 1-1 draw with Chelsea
Fulham star Brede Hangeland has heaped praise on forward Mousa Dembele after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea last night.
The Whites had fallen behind to a Frank Lampard penalty moments before the break, but Clint Dempsey grabbed the plaudits with a fine equaliser eight minutes from time.
However the Norwegian felt Dembele, who has scored just once this season, merited praise for his performance.
“We all know he can do stuff that no-one else can do in this team,” Hangeland told the club’s official website.
“Sometimes he does unbelievable stuff in training, and it’s just about giving him the opportunity to do that as often as possible.
“He just needs to work on certain things in his game - among them scoring more goals - but that goes for all of us doesn’t it, apart from Clint!
“He’s one of those players you can look at and say there’s no limit to what he can do on the pitch.”
Fulham are not in action at the weekend because of Liverpool’s involvement in the FA Cup semi final, with their next game coming against Wigan at Craven Cottage on Saturday, April 21.
