Fulham’s John Arne Riise has warned the Cottagers to expect a tough battle against London rivals Tottenham on Saturday.
Spurs come into the clash at Craven Cottage off the back of an impressive 2-1 win against Liverpool, and Riise knows they face a team in confident mood.
But the Norwegian says Fulham are on a high too after they held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.
“We kept a clean sheet [against Chelsea] which was important for us,” he told Fulham’s official website.
“But Spurs won 2-1 against Liverpool so they are on a high as well which means it will be a very tough game for us.
“But it’s a home match and we want to get back to winning ways and get points on the board so the Chelsea result was a good step going into this game.
“People worked hard on Wednesday and we really wanted to keep a clean sheet and get back amongst the points and now we’ve got to take that momentum in the Tottenham game, and that’s something that we’re all looking forward to.”
