Transfer news: Clint Dempsey is set to leave Craven Cottage
Liverpool target Clint Dempsey has reacted furiously to Fulham manager Martin Jol’s blast.
The American wants to leave Craven Cottage with a move to Merseyside the most desirable outcome and his alleged wish to move led to him being withdrawn from the Whites’ season-opener against Norwich.
“There are two sides to the story,” Dempsey wrote on Twitter. “The truth will come out soon.”
