Fulham loanee Marcello Trotta admitted that scoring for Brentford against Chelsea was almost like a dream.
The Italian struck moments before half-time in front of the Bees fans to give the home side the lead against the Blues.
Chelsea equalised through Oscar but Brentford led again through a Harry Forrester penalty.
However, the striker was left disappointed as Fernando Torres struck seven minutes from time to take the game to a replay.
“To score against a great team like Chelsea is almost a dream,” he told London24. “It was a very good game for us.
“I think it was a very good finish. It was good to get a goal.
“To do it in front of the fans was special. It was a good time to score and allow the crowd to enjoy it.
“I think when we led 2-1 we believed we could win. Unfortunately they scored that’s the way it goes.”
Trotta recently extended his loan at the Griffin Park outfit and is loving life with Brentford.
“I’m very happy here,” he said. “I want to do well with the team and help fight for promotion.”
“We’re back into the league [against Yeovil on Saturday] and it’ll be good to get a win and keep this run going.
“It’s important for us to win the next game and we fight for the top.”
